A Suggestion

 A suggestion to all my friends.

You all may know that our Defence Officers are first trained in NDA for first three years. After that they join their respective institutes for further training as Gentleman  Cadets. 

From the stage of Gentleman Cadet all the expenses of the cadets are borne by the government. Hence Gentleman Cadets do not need any scholarships.

In NDA all the training boarding and lodging are heavily subsidised but still there are some expenses which have to be borne by the cadets. Though those expenses are not very high still some  cadets coming from poor background find it difficult to pay even that.

Hence various state governments, central government, various government and non government organisations give various types of scholarships to the cadets. 

Even civilians can offer scholarships to the cadets as per their wish.

So, if anyone of you wants to immortalise the name of your near and dear ones then you can start a scholarship in the memory of your near and dear ones.

You can donate an amount and from its interest scholarship will be given to a particular cadet as per your wish.

You have the liberty to choose who will get the scholarship. 

For example you can choose that the best rider will get your scholarship. Or it can be best boxer or best shooter or the cadet who tops in Mathematics or English or Military Science or the over all topper or the best disciplined cadet - the choice is yours.

In this way you and your near and dear one, in whose memory you will start the scholarship, will be a part of one of the best institutes of the world forever and will also serve the country meaningfully.
