 गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।

गुरुर्देव परंब्रह्मः तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।।

अज्ञानतिमिरांधस्य ज्ञानांजनशलाकया।

 चक्षुरौन्मीलितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।।

अखण्डमण्डलाकारं व्याप्तं येन चराचरं।

 तदपदं दर्शितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।।

अनेकजन्म संप्राप्तं कर्मबन्ध विदाहिने।

 आत्मज्ञानप्रदानेन तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।।

मन्नाथः श्री जगन्नाथा मदगुरु श्री जगदगुरु।

 मदात्मा सर्वभूतात्मा तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः।।

Today on Teacher's day I am remembering and offering my heartfelt respect to all the teachers and gurus and all the persons from whom I have learnt something. I am also thankful to God that I have also learnt so many things from situations, circumstances, nature and time. 

I am also offering my respect to all the other teachers who were and are not my teachers because if not me someone from somewhere has learnt from them.
